The Andrew M. Schwartz Legal Team is a Boca Raton law firm focused on business litigation and real estate disputes. For more than three decades, the firm has represented business owners, investors, families, and companies throughout Palm Beach County and Broward County in the disputes that matter most to them: conflicts between partners and LLC members, business divorces, complex contract cases, and disagreements over real estate and the money tied up in it.
How the Firm Began
Andrew M. Schwartz was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1989 after earning his law degree from the University of Miami. During law school, he gained early courtroom exposure working alongside respected Miami trial lawyers, first in personal injury and later in commercial litigation. In 1990, he moved to Palm Beach County to serve as the sole associate litigator at a small real estate and business law firm, where he handled cases from intake through trial.
In 1994, Andrew opened his own practice in Boca Raton. What began as a solo office has grown into a team built around one idea: clients involved in serious business disputes deserve lawyers who know their case, answer their calls, and give them straight advice about their options.

The firm’s name reflects how we actually work. Rather than handing a case to one lawyer who works in isolation, every matter is handled by a coordinated group of attorneys and staff who all know the file. When a client calls with a question, the person who picks up can help, because everyone is working from the same information.
That approach shows up in the details of how we run the office. We answer the phone when clients call. If we are in court or otherwise unavailable, we follow a strict policy of returning calls within 24 hours. For clients with ongoing matters, we schedule regular conference calls at set times so no one is left waiting for an update.
Our Attorneys
Andrew M. Schwartz, Founding Shareholder and President
Andrew has spent 37 years in litigation, with a career centered on contract enforcement and interpretation, partnership and shareholder disputes, corporate dissolution, real estate litigation, and injunctions. He also serves as outside general counsel to businesses that want a litigator’s perspective before problems turn into lawsuits. Originally from Short Hills, New Jersey, Andrew earned his undergraduate degree from Emory University and has practiced in South Florida for his entire career.
Sundeep Nath, Senior Counsel
Sundeep joined the firm in 2024 and focuses on business and real estate litigation in state and federal courts. He began his career at Englander Fischer in St. Petersburg and Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney in Tampa, then ran his own litigation practice in Clearwater for eight years. Sundeep is also the chief executive officer of a medical device company, giving him firsthand experience with the decisions and pressures business owners face. He earned both his undergraduate degree and his law degree from Northwestern University.
The Clients We Serve
Many of our clients are business owners whose company, investment, or property is at the center of a dispute. Some are partners or LLC members who can no longer agree on how a business should be run. Others are family members who own a company or a piece of real estate together and need a fair way to separate. We also represent individuals and companies in high-value contract disputes, partition actions, title disputes, and cases involving missing or diverted funds.
Because South Florida draws so many investors and business owners from the Northeast, a significant number of our clients live in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. We handle their Florida litigation locally and keep them informed at every stage, so they can protect their interests here without having to travel for every hearing.
A large share of our work also comes from other attorneys. Out of state lawyers whose clients have disputes in Florida, and Florida lawyers who do not handle business litigation, refer matters to our firm with confidence that their clients will be well represented and that they will be kept in the loop.
Our Approach to Litigation
Andrew often says that clients initially think they want the most aggressive lawyer they can find, but what they really want is a lawyer who reads the situation correctly. Some disputes call for an emergency injunction filed the same week. Others are best resolved quietly through negotiation or mediation, especially when family relationships or an ongoing business are on the line. Our job is to know the difference and to recommend the path that serves the client’s goals, not the one that generates the most legal fees.
When a case does need to go to court, we prepare it thoroughly and pursue it with determination. Our attorneys are experienced in trial litigation, arbitration, and mediation, and we bring the same attention to detail to every forum.
